Blue Cheese Crumb
Description
Our Fleet Valley Blue cheese is an unpressed blue, which means that when it’s cut it can be a wee bit crumbly. Each week, alongside neat stacks of blue cheese wedges, we usually find ourselves with quite a lot of blue cheese crumbs.
Since these are the crumbliest parts of the blue cheese, we find they are particularly strongly flavoured, and our team tend to use them in soups, quiches or as blue cheese on toast.
At the moment we simply have too much blue cheese crumb for our team to get through, and since this is the perfect weather for broccoli and blue cheese soup, we thought we’d make it available to our customers.
These are 250g bags, which we think is probably the right amount for a couple of pots of soup (or one big very cheesy pot), or a couple of quiches or tarts.
We would recommend using this product within a week to ten days of receiving it.
